Last Thursday and Saturday me and my media group were extras an feature film called the 'Weekenders'. We filmed to differnt scenes for the film.
Below is the plot summary from IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706470/
1990. The rave scene has arrived from Ibiza and warehouse parties are exploding across the UK bringing phenomenal wealth to the organisers. In Manchester, best mates Matt and Dylan are in their early 20's and long to be more than just punters. As the government moves to outlaw the scene, it's now or never and they quickly rise through the ranks to join the promoting elite. They are taken on a wild journey from the exclusive VIP rooms of London clubs to the outrageous parties in Ibiza super-villas and the hedonism of Amsterdam. It's everything they dreamed of and more. But as their success continues to grow, they attract a more dark and sinister world. Matt and Dylan start to drift apart as they are forced to question the dreams they set out to achieve and their once solid friendship. Written by Benchmark Films

The scenes we were in were shot in a warehouse in Bethnal Green. The warehouse was covered in lots of graffiti and had bright, neon and UV lights. These photos were taken by our media group some of use were given clothes to where and some of us were able to wear some of the clothes we brought ourselves.
The set really suited the theme and storyline of the film. Also, the clothes and hair had to look right for the era of 80's and 90's, therefore the costumes were very bright and everyones fringes had to be pinned back.
Me and Emily were given costumes from the film company, Whereas the costume designer was happy with Dom's outfit choice that she brought with her.
Also, here are some photos that were taken of our costumes and of some of the cast members from the film.
